Bonaire East Coast Diving
Bonaire has been well known for many years as the shore diving capital of the world. The geographical shape of the island creates natural protection on the west side against the constant eastern trade winds. This together with its shallow coral reefs make it a one of a kind dive destination – a true diver’s paradise – where “unlimited” shore diving is possible. Nevertheless, the leeward side does not even cover half of the shoreline, which offers lots of sites to be yet discovered on the east side of the island, where the corals are untouched and marine life is abundant. Do you wonder how to get access to these pristine and remote spots, with the wind, waves and dramatic cliffs making it nearly impossible to enter from shore? You’ve just found your answer! Welcome to our website, welcome to Bonaire East Coast Diving!
Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean is better known as ‘Diver’s Paradise’ and for many consecutive years, it was voted #1 “Top Overall Diving” in Scuba Diving Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards. Bonaire received first place in three other Caribbean/Atlantic categories: “Top Health of Marine Environment”, “Top Macro Life” and “Top Shore Diving”, and also received second place in seven other Caribbean/Atlantic categories: “Overall Destination”, “Value for Diving Dollar”, “Beginner Diving”, “Snorkeling”, “Best Visibility”, “Marine Life” and “Underwater Photography”.
