Bonaire has been well know for many years as the shore diving capital of the world. The geographical shape of the island creates natural protection on the west side against the constant eastern trade winds. This together with its shallow coral reefs make it a one of a kind dive destination - a true diver's paradise - where “unlimited” shore diving is possible. Nevertheless, the leeward side does not even cover half of the shoreline, which offers lots of sites to be yet discovered on the east side of the island, where the corals are untouched and marine life is abundant. Do you wonder how to get access to these pristine and remote spots, with the wind, waves and dramatic cliffs making it nearly impossible to entry from shore? You’ve just found your answer! Welcome to our website, welcome to Bonaire East Coast Diving!
Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean is better known as 'Diver's Paradise' and for many consecutive years, it was voted #1 "Top Overall Diving" in Scuba Diving Magazine’s Reader's Choice Awards. Bonaire received first place in three other Caribbean/Atlantic categories: "Top Health of Marine Environment", "Top Macro Life" and "Top Shore Diving", and also received second place in seven other Caribbean/Atlantic categories: "Overall Destination", "Value for Diving Dollar", "Beginner Diving", "Snorkeling", "Best Visibility", "Marine Life" and "Underwater Photography".
Bonaire East Coast Diving is the only specialized diving operation on the famous East Coast of Bonaire and we're happy to take you there for a different - better! - diving experience. Expect to see all the exciting creatures you will not see on the other divesites, like Spotted Eagle Rays, Sharks, Green Moray Eels and lots of turtles. And do not forget to take a good look at the pristine coral formations that cannot be found anywhere else on Bonaire!
Bonaire East Coast Diving is the proud owner of the only boat on Bonaire that is especially designed for the east coast of the island. Our Zodiac Hurricane 920 is a custom build military RIB, powered by two 250hp Yamaha outboard engines, equipped with all the necessary safety gear. This makes it possible to offer an exciting and new experience for all levels of divers. Dive doors on either side of the boat make it possible to hang a ladder on the side so you can easily get back into the RIB, even in rough seas. Easy entry, easy exit, and above all very relaxed!
